Capturing progress and achievement

Systematically collecting evidence of learners' progress may be new to some areas of Adult Learning, but the good news is that:

  • completed learning plans - in whatever form you have decided upon - along with examples of learners' work, provide a good representation of learners' progress;
  • advances in technology, particularly in digital photography and sound recording, mean that it is easier than ever before to capture progress and achievement. You can keep these records in an electronic form without taking up valuable space elsewhere.
