Using the Internet

If you are looking for extra ideas to help you improve your practice in ICT teaching, explore some of the links in the downloadable Weblinks file. Non-ICT Adult Learning tutors will also find the file helpful.

You will find resources and ideas covering the whole range of adult learning and other subjects. You will be able to find and adapt resources that are relevant to your learners and offer a suitable degree of challenge.

The links are in addition to many others on the site and offer an easy connection to e-learning and e-assessment.

We don't endorse sites, and offer no guarantee that links will remain 'live' beyond a certain period.

Bear in mind that some of your learners may need to develop their language, literacy or numeracy skills. If you are newly engaging with Skills for Life, this site is a useful general starting point which you can explore as required. The section on teaching and learning gives a good overview of the Skills for Life agenda. If you are already involved in Skills for Life, you may find it useful to receive the regular updates from the site.
