In this CPD session tutors are given mindmaps and asked to fill them in for groups of IT learners with different interests. These tutors are constructing mind maps around IT applications relevant to gardening.

Male tutor 1:

I don't know if you'd use email very much … I suppose you could if you were ordering — I see no reason why not.

Male tutor 2:

And also for queries and things, if you need something from a website and you're not sure if it would fit into your scheme and just general….

Male tutor 1:

And also you could catalogue a seed collection or a database of your plants and then from that you could put when to prune for example, run a query — when to prune.

Female tutor:

You could type your plant labels up and print them off…

Voiceover:

These tutors are doing the same mind mapping activity for learners interested in football.

Female tutor:

Email to tell them of the new, you know … we're meeting half an hour early….

Female tutor:

Communicate with members …

Expenses definitely…

Overnight accommodation costs…

Male tutor:

Specialist software, specialist training software, you know, interactive.

Female tutor:

We'll put together a database of results, with all the league tables, who's at the top of the league and a database will definitely show you.
